About Param
Param Grewal, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, is the son of South West Bulk Carriers’ founder, Sukhdeep Grewal. Param started South West Bulk Carriers in 2016, bringing a fresh perspective to the family business. As the Vice President of Operations and Sales, he plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and ensuring operational excellence.
Param’s deep-rooted connection to the trucking industry began in his childhood, growing up around the business his father built. This early exposure cultivated a passion that eventually led him back to the industry after completing his education. Param studied law and graduated from Bond University in 2015, equipping him with a strong foundation in legal and business principles that he leverages in his current role.
